Shirley Wines Smith, age 99, of Richmond, Indiana passed away at home on October 12, 2024.
Born on January 17, 1925 in Richmond, Indiana to the late Anthony and Anna Gilbert Lucas, Shirley was a lifetime resident of Richmond. She graduated from Richmond High School in 1942 and retired from AVCO Corp. She was an active member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church.

Shirley was married to the late Elmer Wines until his death in 1985 and later married to Morris Smith until his death in 2015. She is also preceded in death by brother Robert (Virginia) Lucas, sister Clarice (Ralph) Stout, brother Howard (Myrtle) Lucas and daughter Nancy Ringenberg.

Shirley is survived by sons William Wines of Fairfield, Ohio and Mark Wines of Billings, Montana. She is also survived by grandchildren Jason (Jenny) Wigger and Aaron Wigger of Richmond, Jordan Wines and Jasper Wines of Billings, Montana; great-grandchildren Jaiden, Jasmine and Jayce Wigger of Richmond, Indiana and six nieces and nephews.

Pastor Cliff Nunn will officiate services at 1:00pm on Friday October 18, 2024 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church. Burial will immediately follow in Earlham Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 12pm-1pm at the church, prior to the service.
