Shirley A. Zwissler, age 78, of Richmond, died Wednesday morning (October 24, 2018) at Reid Health. She was born in Ringgold, Georgia on November 13, 1939 to Lester and Lucille Lankford Nelson and had lived here most of her life. She was a loving mother, wife, grandmother and homemaker. Shirley was a member of Sylvan Nook Church of Christ

Survivors include her husband Jack Zwissler; daughters Jani (Greg) Snyder and Julie (Jim) Favorite; grandchildren Geoffrey (Elizabeth) Snyder, Bruce (Rebecca) Snyder, Andy (Hannah) Snyder, Derek (Annie) Taggart; 3 great grandchildren; brother Bill Nelson. In addition to her parents, a grandson, Brandon Taggart, is also deceased.

Services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Monday (October 29, 2018) in Sylvan Nook Church of Christ (1221 Sylvan Nook Drive). Mike Ballard will officiate. Entombment will be in Earlham Cemetery. Friends may call on Monday (October 29, 2018) from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the church.
