Stephen M. Bussen, 75, of Richmond died Friday May 19, 2023 at home surrounded by his loved ones. He was born in Richmond, Indiana on November 12, 1947 to Eugene and Janice Bussen. He retired from Alcoa/Silgan after 53 years of service.
Survivors include his wife of 57 years Carol (Balthis) Bussen and two children Tina (Tim) Weir and Jerry (Angi) Bussen of Richmond. 9 wonderful grandchildren Joshua (Sisilia) Rohrer, Troy (Kait) Weir, Zach (Kim) Weir, Jerry (Camille) Bussen II, Mark Bussen, Randy Bussen, Brittney Gerrian, Madi Bussen and Emma Bussen. 15 awesome great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. He leaves a brother Barry (Gerry) Bussen and 2 sisters Julie Nolley and Gayle Crandall. Sister-in-law Jenny (heavenly Jim) Foreman and brother-in-law Dewey (Judy) Balthis.
Funeral services will be held at 1 pm on Tuesday May 23, 2023 at Riggle-Waltermann Mortuary with visitation from 11am-1pm. Pastor Dennis Wagers will officiate. Burial will follow in Earlham Cemetery.
