Susan Jane Hathaway Mayo, age 62, of Richmond, died Sunday afternoon (October 25, 2009) at Saint Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis. She was born in Richmond on December 13, 1946 to Keith V. and Louise Moss Hathaway and had lived here most of her life. She worked as office manager for Omni Maintenance.. Susan enjoyed bowling and volunteered for more than 20 years with the Junior Bowling League. She was inducted into the Indiana Bowling Hall of Fame in recognition of her volunteer efforts. She was a very very kind lady and a wonderful mother. We will miss you always until we are together again. Survivors include her children - Tony Mayo of Richmond, Ray (Lisa) Mayo of West Palm Beach, Florida, Melissa (Troy) Olsen of Billings, Montana, Karen Mayo of Richmond; 9 grandchildren including Aaron Mayo who lived with her; 7 great grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Nine brothers and sisters are also deceased. Services will be held at 7:00 pm on Wednesday (October 28, 2009) in Riggle - Waltermann Mortuary.
