Thelma Sprinkles Reece, age 83, of Richmond, died Thursday morning (December 6, 2007) at Reid Hospital.� She was born in Knox County, Kentucky on December 23, 1923 to Walter and Nancy Gray Smallwood and had lived here since 1962. �She was the co-owner/operator of Sprinkles Restaurant from 1963 - 1978.� Her first husband, Shafter Sprinkles, died on September 23, 1994.� Her second husband, Raburn Reece, died on October 22, 2007.�
Survivors include her daughters - Edith Sprinkles of Richmond and Eva Reece of Richmond;� brothers - Troy Smallwood of Florida and Duncan Smallwood of Virginia;� sisters-in-law and caregivers - Beulah Fortner of Richmond and Lois Burgess of Richmond, grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.�
Services will be held at 3:00 pm on Tuesday December 11, 2007 in Riggle - Waltermann Mortuary.� Rev. Matt Reece and Rev. John Maples will officiate.� Burial will be in Earlham Cemetery.� Friends may call on Monday (December 10, 2007) from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the funeral home.� www.riggle-waltermann.com
