Obituary

Thelma L. White, age 93, of Richmond, went home to be with her Lord on Saturday (June 22, 2013) at Sterling House of Richmond, where she had resided since January 2011. She was born in Union County on September 14, 1919 to Harry and Zella Snyder Thomas and had lived here all of her life. She was a 1939 graduate of Short High School and was employed for many years at First National Bank of Richmond. Thelma was also a lifetime member of First Christian Church where she served as Church Librarian and on various committees. Survivors include her daughter, Becki (John) Lahrman of Richmond; sister, Rosemary (Steve) Cooper of Centerville; nieces, Sandy Floyd, Dana Uphaus, Raeanne Unger; nephews, Tom Curry, Howard Curry, Greg Ruhl, Jacob Taylor, Joey Floyd. Her husband, Rollo J. White, whom she married June 4, 1944, went to be with his Lord on September 22, 2007. Also preceding her in death are her parents; one sister, Reba Curry and her husband, Nelson Curry; a brother-in-law, Marland White and niece, Cindy White. Services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday (June 26, 2013) in Riggle �" Waltermann Mortuary. Rev. Amanda Hines will officiate. Burial will be in Goshen Cemetery. Friends may call on Tuesday (June 25, 2013) from 5:00 p.m. To 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
