Thomas Lloyd Drook, age 63, of Richmond, died unexpectedly on Sunday (May 5, 2013)' He was born in New Paris, Ohio on September 20, 1949 to William and Arbuitis Drook. He was a US Army veteran serving in Panama during the Viet Nam War. He attended Sinclair Business College and the Vocational Technical Institute for Culinary Arts. Tommy loved his children and grandchildren, they were his life. He enjoyed playing cards, poker, mushroom hunting and making everyone laugh. Those who knew Tommy would say "he always made me laugh". He would do anything for anyone and never judged them. He knew different people from all walks of life and they loved him. Tommy had worked at the former D & M Manufacturing. He possessed an entrepreneurial spirit and participated in numerous ventures over the years, most recently D & M Properties. Tommy leaves his wife, Patricia Drook, his children, Angie Jordan, Tony Drook (Amy), Gina Goodman (Brad), Cathy Platfoot (deceased), Jeffrey Raper; 7 grandchildren, Hunter and Clay Cochran, Emma & Logan Drook, Gracie and Chloe Goodman, Brookelyn Jordan; siblings, Nancy Drook, Joyce Loudy, Kenny Drook, William Drook, David Drook, Robert Drook and many friends and family who will miss him dearly including his best friend "Buddy". Services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. On Friday (May 10, 2013) in Riggle - Waltermann Mortuary. Anton Payne will officiate. Burial will be in Goshen Cemetery where military graveside services will be conducted by the Wayne County Honor Guard.
