Thomas David Gard, age 56, of Richmond, died Saturday afternoon (October 25, 2008) at his residence.� He was born in Knightstown, Indiana on August 30, 1952 to Earl B. Jr. and Imogene Jones Gard and had lived here most of his life.� He was a graduate of Richmond High School and had worked for the former Insurance Company of North America, in the electrical aspects of the construction business, for Kroger's and for Rose View Transit.�Survivors include his wife of 27 years - Jackie Gard; daughters - Cynthia Gard and Jamie Gard both of Richmond;� brothers - Brad Gard of Richmond, Paul Gard of Chickamauga, Georgia;� sisters - Barbara Gard and Cynthia Covert both of Lexington, Kentucky;� nieces and nephews�A memorial service will be conducted at 7:00 pm on Thursday (October 30, 2008) in Riggle - Waltermann Mortuary.� Rev.
