Thomas H. Richardson Sr, age 67, of Richmond, died unexpectedly Sunday morning (February 10, 2008) at his residence. He was born in Richmond on April 24, 1940 to Hobert and Josie Lackey Richardson and had lived here all of his life. He was a journeyman millwright and had worked for Johns-Manville for 33 years before retiring in 2002.
Survivors include his wife - Golda Richardson with whom he would have celebrated 48 years of marriage on February 12, 2008; sons - Thomas Richardson, Jr., of Richmond, Rick (Becky) Richardson of Centerville and Wade Richardson of Richmond; grandsons - Matthew Myers and Brian Richardson; 4 great grandchildren, nieces & nephews including a special nephew, Bill Dalbey and a special niece, Yolanda Snowden.
In addition to his parents, 4 sisters and 3 brothers are also deceased.
Services will be held at 1:00 pm on Wednesday (February 13, 2008) in Riggle - Waltermann Mortuary. Rev. Paul Mingus will officiate. Burial will be in Goshen Cemetery. Friends may call on Wednesday (February 13, 2008) from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to HELP the Animals, 2101 West Main St., Richmond, IN 47374.
