Timothy H. Thomas, age 56, of Richmond, died Wednesday morning (October 5, 2011) at his residence. He was born in Richmond on September 25, 1955 to Howard J. and Earlene Rodgers Thomas and had lived here all of his life. He was a great animal lover and an avid Miami Dolphins football fan. He was a US Army veteran. Survivors include his sons - Clay (Rebecca) Thomas of Muncie, Indiana, Timothy (Jennifer) Thomas of South Carolina; his father - Howard J. Thomas of Richmond; sister - Vicki (Rick) Uhl of Lafayette, Indiana; grandchildren - Rod and Trey Thomas, Chandler Hillard; step-grandchildren - Robert and Travis Cassady; nieces and nephews. In addition to his mother, a brother, Steven Thomas, is also deceased. Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday (October 11, 2011) in Riggle - Waltermann Mortuary. Pastor Mark Thomas will officiate. Burial will be in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens where military graveside services will be conducted by the Wayne County Honor Guard.
