Violet J. Hanley, age 94, of Richmond, died Sunday (January 11, 2009). She was born in New Castle, Indiana on October 31, 1914 to Floyd and Philmonea Morel Pohlman and had lived here most of her life. She was a graduate of Morton High School and a home maker. Survivors include her daughter - Kareen (William, Sr.) Webb of Centerville; her son - James Hanley of Richmond; three grandsons - William Webb, Jr, Joe Noelker, Jr and Todd Hanley. A son, Robert Hanley, is also deceased. Services will be held at 1:00 pm on Wednesday (January 14, 2009) in Riggle - Waltermann Mortuary. Rev. Paul Mingus will officiate.
