After a life filled with music, love for animals, and dedication to his faith, Virgil Lee Nugent Jr. of Richmond, IN, left this world on February 19, 2024, surrounded by his loving family. Born on December 31, 1959, in Richmond, IN to Virgil and Marlene Webb Nugent. Virgil's passion for playing guitar and his undeniable talent brought joy to all who knew him. He cherished his furry companions and was a devoted member of Central Baptist Church. He worked at St. Andrews Church and as a welder for Woodruff Corporation before retirement.
Left to cherish his memory are his daughter Jessica Holland; siblings Lori (Edward) Wade and James J. (Pam) Nugent; grandchildren Taron Penley and Jacee Nugent; many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents Virgil and Marlene Nugent.
The family will hold a Celebration of Life service on March 3, 2024, at a location to be determined. Please reach out to the family for more information.
