Wanda L. Brees, age 77, of Cambridge City, died Monday afternoon (April 26, 2010) at her residence. She was born in Preacherville, Kentucky on October 18, 1932 to Homer Creech and Mary Williams Creech Troy and had lived here most of her life. She was a retired long time employee of Richmond Laundry and had also worked for Dollar General (Cambridge City). Wanda was a homemaker and a member of Oak Park Church. Survivors include her husband of 31 years - Larry Brees; son - Jim (Sallye) Creech of Richmond; daughter - Jenny (Doug) Mullen of Straughn, Indiana; brother - Richard Henry Creech of Richmond; son-in-law - William Drook of Richmond; grandchildren - Jeremy Creech, Sarah (Geoff) Riggle, Richard Harrison, Dennis Harrison, Angel (Jason) Cox, Jennifer Drook, William (Kim) Drook; 12 great grandchildren; 5 great great grandchildren; nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, a daughter - Penny Drook, a brother, Virgil Creech and two sisters, Lucy Morris and Linda Ellison are also deceased. Services will be held at 11:00 am on Friday (April 30, 2010) in Oak Park Church (1920 Chester Blvd - Richmond). Rev. Kevin Shindoll will officiate. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery in Cambridge City. Friends may call from 4:00 pm to 7:30 pm on Thursday (April 29, 2010) at the church.
