Warren Lee Story, age 85, of Richmond, left this life peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family Monday morning (July 8, 2013) He was born in Richmond on April 6, 1928 to Fonsie Lee and Casba Minnie Story and had lived here all his life. He and his late wife Betty loved to travel and took many cruises. Warren spent his working years as a maintenance electrician and retired from the Dana Sleeve plant. He also worked for Mosey Manufacturing and Avco. He was an avid lover of reading, learning, and anything to do with his grandchildren. Warren served in Korea with the Army and was a member of the Moose and Eagle's Lodge for many years. Survivors include his sister Phyllis Kinnevey, brother Ronald (Helen) Story, daughters Belinda Yoke, Diane (Gary) Strelow, Son Douglas E. Story, daughter-in-law Pamela Kidder, grandsons Nathan (Rolene Miller) and Jason Yoke, William, Matthew, and Daniel Story, Brian and Eric Calkins, granddaughter Noel Terry, and very special great granddaughter Laila Miller. In addition to his parents, Warren is preceded in death by his wife of 46 years Betty Jane and son-in-law Manley Yoke. Services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday (July 11, 2013) in Riggle-Waltermann Mortuary. Jim Hall will officiate. Friends may call on Thursday (July 11, 2013) from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
