Wilbur Ballenger, age 88, passed away Sunday (September 22, 2013) at Rosebud Village in Richmond. He was born in Carlos, Indiana on November 18, 1924 to Charles and Ada Eloe Ballenger and had lived in this area all his life. Survivors include his wife of 62 years Alberta Ballenger; Daughter Genita (Rick) Brodnik; Grandsons Dustin (Gwen) and Shawn Roehler. In addition to his parents, Wilbur is preceded in death by a son George Kevin Ballenger; brothers Daniel, Donovan, Roger and Boyd; Sisters Doris, Roma, Roberta and Buella. Services for Wilbur will be held on Thursday (September 26, 2013) at 1:00 p.m. at Riggle-Waltermann mortuary. Pastor Doug Kaler will officiate. Burial will take place at Earlham Cemetery.
