Wilbur E. "Buck" Lantz, age 94, of Richmond, died Wednesday (September 3, 2003) at Cherish Health and Living Center. He was born in Richmond on June 30, 1909 to Henry and Edna Schnelle Lantz and had lived here all of his life. He was a retired employee of Richmond City Street Department and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
Survivors include: Wife - M. Jewel Lantz to whom he was married 60 years
Daughter - Bonnie Effing of Batesville, Indiana
Granddaughter - Kris Seiko of Saint Joseph, Michigan
Great Grandchildren - Nathen and Ashleigh Seiko
A grandson, Scott Effing; three brothers, Howard, Ralph and Kenneth Lantz; and two sisters, Hazel Turner and Mildred Maines are deceased.
Services will be held at 3:00 pm on Saturday (September 6, 2003) in Riggle - Waltermann Mortuary. Rev. Lester Maples will officiate. Burial will be in Lutherania Cemetery.
