William C. "Bill" Woehrmann, age 83, of Richmond, died Friday morning (June 6, 2008) at Golden Living Center - Golden Rule.� He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on March 18, 1925 to Clifford William and Julia Runck Woehrmann and had lived in Richmond most of his adult life.� He was a graduate of Hughes High School and graduated from the Cincinnati College of Music.� He was an Army Air Corp veteran of World War II.� Bill began his career as a radio announcer in Connersville and retired as an employee of WKBV in Richmond after 31 years of employment.� He was a member of First Christian Church and was a active participant in Richmond Civic Theatre for many years.� He was an accomplished singer where he sang for weddings and performed for numerous events throughout the community.�Survivors include his wife of 62 years - Gretchen Woehrmann;� sons - Wayne (Robin) Woehrman and Bruce Woehrman both of Richmond;� daughters - Gayle (Michael) Halpin of Soquel, California, Joyce (Jim) Sheehan of Molokai, Hawaii, Lynn (Tom) Glass of Richmond;� sister - Marlene (Bud) Katter of North Carolina; 10 grandchildren;� 6 great grandchildren.�Services will be held at 10:30 am on Tuesday (June 10, 2008) in Riggle - Waltermann Mortuary.� Rev. Amanda Hines will officiate.� Burial will be in Earlham Cemetery.� Friends may call on Monday (June 9, 2008) from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the funeral home.� Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association,� 9135 N.
