William "Bill" F. Jacobs, age 87, passed away on Saturday (April 19, 2014) at Arbor Trace. He was born in Richmond on December 24, 1926 to Herbert & Mildred Jacobs. Bill was a salesman and co-owner of B & B Appliances. An avid reader and amateur actor, he was very involved in Richmond Civic Theater, winning many awards. Bill coached little league baseball, and was a U.S. Army Air Force veteran of World War II. Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Jean Jacobs; Daughter Brenda Warnōw; Sons Jeff and Brad (Greg McMullen); Sister Marilyn (Clyde) Thomas; Grandson Drew Dunn; and Granddaughter Shawn Jordan. In addition to his parents, a brother Edward Jacobs is also deceased. Services will be held on Tuesday (April 22, 2014) at 3 p.m. in Riggle-Waltermann Mortuary. Pastor Martin Holman will officiate. Friends may call on Tuesday (April 22, 2014) from 1-3 p.m. at the mortuary.
