William J Geier, age 56, of Richmond, died Thursday evening (June 28, 2007). He was born in Richmond on June 6, 1951 to Jerry and Roselyn Neff Geier. He was a 1969 graduate of Richmond High School and was a veteran of the US Army. He had moved back to Richmond from Arizona in 2006.

Survivors include his sister - Mary Beth Miller of Columbus, Ohio; brothers - David Geier of Richmond, Kevin Geier of Sullivan, Indiana, Pete Geier of Columbus, Ohio and Stephen Geier of Centerville, Indiana; he is also survived by Lorie Ladd and by his step-son Peter Holmes.

Services will be held at 1:00 pm on Monday (July 2, 2007) in Riggle - Waltermann Mortuary. Father Todd Riebe will officiate. Burial will be in Saint Andrew Cemetery. Friends may call on Monday (July 2, 2007) from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm at the funeral home.
