William A. Lanman, age 64, of Richmond, died unexpectedly on Thursday (March 18, 2010) at his residence. He was born in Texas on November 1, 1945 to the late William Lanman and Melva Kamp Lanman Foust. Bill was raised by his mother and step-father, George Foust, and had lived here most of his life. He was a graduate of Richmond High School and had attended Indiana State University and the Cincinnati Art Institute. He was a retired employee of the Palladium-Item. Survivors include his children - Bill (Amanda) Lanman of New Paris, Ohio and Heather Lanman of Centerville; grandchildren - Billy Lanman, Avery Lanman, Natalie Runyon and Spencer Lanman. In addition to his parents, a grandson, Chanse Lanman, is also deceased. Friends may call on Monday (March 22, 2010) from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Riggle - Waltermann Mortuary.
