Wilma R. Evans, age 75, of Richmond, died Thursday morning (September 23, 2010) at Heritage House of Richmond. She was born on June 19, 1935 in Olive Hill, Kentucky to Ora and Iva Brewer Baker and had lived here most of her life. She was a homemaker and had worked along with her husband in foster-care for many years. Her husband, Emerson Evans, died on May 23, 2010. Survivors include her children - Sharon "Shay" Rogers of Hagerstown; Gary Evans of Richmond; brothers - Bobby Baker of Richmond, Wayne Baker of Olive Hill, Kentucky; grandchildren - Tiffany King, Heather King, Amber King and Cheyenne Rogers, nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and parents, two brothers, James Ed Baker and Junior Stacey, and two sisters Mae Seagraves and Frances Seagraves are also deceased. Services will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Sunday (September 26, 2010) in Riggle - Waltermann Mortuary. Burial will be in Webster Cemetery. Friends may call on Saturday (September 25, 2010) from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the funeral home.
